Announces the 2008 Program
VICKSBURG
- The 21st
Annual Riverfest will be Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 in
Downtown Vicksburg. Entertainment
begins each night at 6:30 p.m. on two stages along
Washington Street
, from South to
China
streets. Tickets are $20 for each night or $35 for a weekend set and
are available online at www.riverfestms.com
or at the gates, located at
Crawford Street
(East and West).
All
festivities on Friday night will end at midnight and will open again
Saturday at 8 a.m. with the 40th Annual Vicksburg-Warren County
Riverfest Arts & Crafts Show around City Hall at Crawford and
South streets. Activities along
Washington Street
will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Gates will open again at 6 for
nighttime entertainment and will run until midnight. For

FRIDAY NIGHT
Riverfest gates open at 6 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 6:30
on the North Stage at China and Washington streets and on the South
Stage at South and Washington streets.
SATURDAY
•
The festival will continue at 8 a.m. with the 40th Annual
Vicksburg-Warren County Riverfest Arts & Crafts Show around City
Hall between Crawford and South streets. The show will continue
until 4:30 p.m.
• Food, entertainment and activities will begin at 10 a.m. along
Washington Street, from South to China
streets. All daytime activities are free.
• Night entertainment begins at 6:30 on the North and South
Stages.
PARKING
Parking
will be available at Walnut
Towers
parking garage on Walnut Street
and Horizon parking garages at
Mulberry Street. Street parking will be available along South and Chinastreets and part of Walnut Street
.
RESTROOMS
Toilets will be available near Clay Street
at Riverstage
Plaza
and along China Street
.
VENDORS
Food and drink vendors will be available all along
Washington Street
.
BEER
Tickets for beer will be sold at ticket booths adjacent to the
ticket entrances at the East and
West Crawford Street
entrances. People 21 and
older must arm bands, which are available at tables by the ticket
booths.
GATES
Gates will be located at Crawford Street
on both the East and West side.
TICKETS
Tickets at the gates are $20 each night or $35 for a weekend
package.
